Lu fidgeted with the zip of her hoody, her hair fell loosely over her eyes from the comfort of her black hood. The zip was argueing with her and the fact that she was holding a cigarette between her lips made it all the harder to see. The smoke was burning her eyes and when she finally got the zip up to under her chest she was relieved to move the cig safely between her fingers and inhale the smoke that had been cumulating in her mouth. Her striking blue eyes peered out from behind large sunglasses and heavily made up eyes. She had been on quite the bender the night before, the only thing was, she had been drinking alone on the beach, looking out to the lights of Fanling City and wondering how her bastard of a father was doing for himself. She supposed he had a new girlfriend and was being all nicey nicey to her, right up until the day where she bugged him enough and he snapped.
The pretty blonde scratched her crinkled nose and watched as one or two people passed by, for it being a nice day there sure wasn't very many people there. Lu pulled on her cigarette and let the smoke escape through her nose and a slight gap in her lips. She didn't mind if she was killing herself like some people kept saying to her, she figured she'd probably live her life cancer free and healthy and then when she hit fifty she'd be hit by a bus so what was the point in living life wrapped up in cotton wool? She threw the tan colored butt onto the ground and stood on it with the tip of her purple and white pump. She leaned against the cold steel barrier and sighed as she looked out through her dark glasses, her eyes narowed even though they were shaded by the oversized hang-over aid.
The girl fumbled in her pocket for her cigarettes and lighter. Pulling the cigs out she caught the light with the back of her hand and sent it flying down the half pipe infront of where she stood.
"Shit."
She muttered in the rough, raspy voice that came along with her headache and feeling of constant sickness. Lu searched her pockets for matches or another lighter, the kind that always appeared when you didn't need it, but to no avail. So she stuck the cigarette between her lips anyway and pushed the packet roughly into her jeans pocket and taking the unlit cigarette from between her cherry red lips she let it rest between her forefinger and middle finger as she watched the goings on in the unusually quiet skatepark. He's a stranger to some And a vision to none He could never get enough Get enough of the world. For a fortune he'd quit but it's hard to admit How it ends and begins. On his face is a map of the world.
Jackson traipsed once again through the almost deserted park, murmuring the lyrics of his favorite song under his breath. The song fit his current mood nicely and as he dragged his Converse-d feet around on the concrete he noticed that this song was making him slightly more depressed than usual. Oh well...these emotions weren't strange to Jackson. For some reason he'd felt them for ages, since he'd gotten kicked out of his home by his own mother. Typical Jackson.
He felt a little guilty now as his thoughts curled back around to Tab, her loving, intelligent brown eyes, the way she never judged. He was lucky she was his. However, coming here had forced him to leave the young puppy at the apartment. He was sure she'd be okay but a small part of him still yearned for her presence at his side.
Reaching one of the many half-pipes, Jackson climbed up the ladder at one end, his tight black T-shirt hugging whatever muscles the pale boy had. His tight navy jeans constricted his thighs uncomfortably for a few moments as he clambered to the top, finally sitting down and letting his legs flop over the half-pipe.
As somebody murmured "shit" Jackson looked up, startled, to see a girl in a black hoodie. Apparently she'd dropped something. Against his better judgement, Jackson looked straight at her, gripping the iron safety bars in his slightly cold fingers. "Uh, you know you're on a half-pipe, right?" he asked, then silently cursed himself for being so stupid. Typical Jackson.
On his face is a map of the world...

Lu raised an eyebrow, her eyes narrowed as she tried to think of something witty to say but the only thing that came to her head was the constant buzzing that just wouldn't shut up. she half smiled and looked at the guy.
"Um, yeah..." She let the cigarette hang from her dry lips as she re-searched her pockets, just incase she missed a match. There was none, she laughed at herself slightly in her head, as if she had expected to find that one had appeared in the past ten seconds. She looked at the guy again, she wasn't sure if she had met him before, everyone here had started to look the same.
"Hey, you got a light?"
Lu smiled politely as she always had when she was asking for something, she wasn't working today and she didn't have any money on her so she couldn't buy another lighter and she couldn't be bothered climbing down the half pipe to her lighter, it was only a cheap one.[/blockquote]
